Redirection from the personal income tax

- For salary income, form 230 must be completed by May 25 of each year.

- The forms are handed over to the Association, which will submit them to ANAF

- For an easier management of this process, you can use the online format on www.formular230.ro where the association is also registered, after completing it, send the automatically generated form to the association's e-mail address office@romanianfatexcouncil.ro

- For other income from rents, copyrights, etc., form D12 - Single declaration will be used. This will be submitted personally to ANAF by the taxpayer

In the case of PFA, the redirection is done similarly to natural persons together (or separately) with the declaration of income until May 25

The redirection of 20% of the income tax of commercial companies

Periodically (monthly, quarterly, annually) 20% of the corporate income tax can be redirected. There are 3 simple steps to follow:

- A sponsorship contract is signed with the Association

- The respective amount is transferred to the Association

- It is deducted from the tax owed to the state

Even if you do not own social shares, you can talk to your employer, a company or an accountant to do this.

A company can make several sponsorships to several NGOs within the limit of 20%

Note - Example of procedure in the case of a micro-enterprise:

  1. Total sales from the current quarter are estimated;
  2. Income tax applies (1% or 3%);
  3. 20% of this tax is calculated. Complete a payment order with this amount and transfer the amount to us by the LAST DAY OF THE QUARTER;
  4. The sponsorship contract is downloaded, filled in with the company's data and the respective amount and sent to the association;
  5. Both documents are provided to the accountant. In the following month(s), the accountant will deduct this payment from the income tax that will be transferred to the state and will include it in the appropriate declarations.
  6. If this date has been exceeded and the amount has not been transferred, there is a period of 6 months, in which form 177 is completed and ANAF will transfer the respective amount to the Association's account (similarly to D230 for natural persons).
